Top Free-to-Play Games in Europe: Q1 2025 Performance Overview

In the first quarter of 2025, the top free-to-play games on the unified platform in Europe showcased varying performance trends. Here's a closer look at the leading games based on data from Sensor Tower.

Coin Master from Moon Active saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 216K at the beginning of January and dropping to 126K by the end of March. However, the weekly revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating between $9.0M and $10.2M throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around 2.0M, maintaining consistency despite the drop in downloads.

Royal Match by Dream Games experienced a notable drop in weekly active users from 12.9M to 11.7M. Weekly downloads also declined, starting at 500K and ending at 427K. Revenue, however, remained robust, peaking at $7.8M in mid-January before stabilizing around $7.0M.

Candy Crush Saga, published by King, showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $6.7M by late March. Despite this, weekly downloads decreased from 298K to 187K, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at approximately 8.7M.

Last War: Survival from FUNFLY PTE. LTD. had a significant spike in revenue in February, hitting $7.2M, before settling back to around $3.9M. Downloads and active users remained relatively stable, with downloads ending at 348K and active users slightly increasing to 1.2M.

Finally, Whiteout Survival by Century Games Pte. Ltd. maintained consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $4.6M in late March. Downloads decreased from 657K to 279K, and active users saw a decline from 2.2M to 1.8M by the end of the quarter.
